February 14-17, 2006 the Administration of the FEZ “Vitebsk” is planning to take part in the visit of Vitebsk business circles to Tallinn (Estonia).
We would like to invite you and your business partners to visit the presentation of the FEZ "Vitebsk" which will take place on February, 15 in 10 a.m. in Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Tallinn.
By the presentation the FEZ "Vitebsk" is following: to tell more about the conditions and opportunities in FEZ, to undertake negotiations with Estonian business circles on the matters of beneficial co-operation. More than that, the Administration of the FEZ "Vitebsk" is ready to present Estonian businessmen with the number of interesting investment projects available for realization under the FEZ "Vitebsk" circumstances.

The Administration of the Free Economic Zone "Vitebsk" proposes working area for realization your investment project. It's preferential to be work in engineering industry, metal working, electronics and telecommunications, chemical and petrochemical industries, processing of agricultural products or production of new building materials. October, 27-28 the Delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Belarus at the head of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador H.E.Mr. Petras VAITIEKUNAS visited Vitebsk region to discuss the expansion of bilateral economic relations between Lithuanian and Vitebsk regions. The visit included meeting with the governing body of the Administration of the FEZ and also visit of FEZ's "Vitebsk" residents.

Belarus EXPO - 2004

The Administration of the Free Economic Zone (FEZ) "Vitebsk" is proud to announce that it is going to present itself on the Belarusian National Exhibition "Belarus EXPO - 2004" in Riga (Latvia) on the 4-7 November 2004.

We would like to invite all the businessmen, interested in the possibility to undertake business in Belarus in the conditions of tax and customs preferences, to visit the FEZ "Vitebsk" stand on the exhibition and conduct negotiations on the matter.

The resident-companies of the FEZ "Vitebsk", who are working on export to the Baltic region and interested in new business contacts will also participate in the Exhibition.

New Investment Project was approved at the FEZ "Vitebsk".

By the decision of the expert Commission of the Administration of the Free Economic Zone "Vitebsk" a new Belarusian - Canadian investment project was considered and approved.

The project envisages the creation on the FEZ "Vitebsk" territory of a new Belarusian - Canadian enterprise "Canadian House" Ltd, which plans to produce wooden carcass houses according to the Canadian technology. The advantageous features of this technology are: high quality, high level of warmth preserving, comfort. Such a house could be build at any season and in any climate environment.

The raw materials (wood, chemicals) are planed to be imported from the Russian Federation, the EU, Canada. There is a real possibility that in the near future, the production will use local, Belarusian, completings. The production is planned as export oriented.

Planned volume of production - 20 Canadian houses a month.
Total amount of investments - 4,000,000 USD
35 new working palaces will be established.
The enterprise is planned to be launched in summer 2005.
